Erik Bue

Chief Development Officer

Erik Bue serves as Chief Development Officer of EdgePrimePower, where he leads project origination, development, and execution to deliver power solutions for data centers and other large commercial and industrial energy customers. At EdgePrimePower, he draws on more than 25 years of experience scaling companies across power generation, data centers, renewable energy, and climate technology. Combining deep expertise in development, operations, finance, and engineering, he has a strong track record of structuring and executing complex power solutions.

Before joining EdgePrimePower, Erik led efforts to source power for Amazon Web Services’ AI-driven data center expansion, including transactions involving nuclear, renewable, and gas generation. Among his achievements was delivering a first-of-its-kind 1.2 GW data center campus powered by a co-located nuclear power plant. He also built and led a global team developing strategic partnerships across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. Before joining AWS, Erik served as Chief Operating Officer of Veemo, an electric vehicle company, and as Global Head of Performance Operations at SunEdison. Previously, he co-founded Silver Ridge Power, a global utility-scale solar power company, and held leadership roles at GreenFuel, an algae-to-biofuels startup, and H₂Gen, a hydrogen and fuel cell startup. Erik holds a BSE in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and an MS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from MIT.
