Su Lin Ong

Chief Investment Officer

Su Lin Ong serves as chief investment officer at EdgePrimePower, where she leads capital strategy, investment structuring, and financing for the platform’s projects. She brings more than two decades of global energy sector experience in project finance, mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, and asset management, all in support of the renewable energy transition.

Before joining EdgePrimePower, Su Lin served as head of investments, North America energy at Fortescue, where she led investment structuring, capital raising, partnership formation, acquisitions and strategic development across the company’s North American energy business. Before that, she was head of project finance, U.S., at Equinor, where she led financing and structuring activities across the company’s U.S. renewables and low carbon businesses, including major offshore wind developments.

Su Lin has held senior leadership roles at Summit Utilities and SunEdison, leading mergers and acquisitions, growth strategy, and capital formation across utility and renewable energy platforms. She also held senior leadership roles at AES, including at AES Solar, where she helped grow the company’s footprint to more than 500 megawatts in operation across seven countries.

Su Lin earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in international relations and economics from Wellesley College. She also served on the board of Talus Renewables.
